The Flood Control Board was established in response to major flooding events that occurred in 1982 and 1998, and provides a forum for public input on flood control issues facing the Town. The Flood Board coordinates with the Public Works Department by:
Meeting to discuss flood control measures and services provide by the town.
Providing a public forum for comment and discussion about flood control issues.
Recommending key flood control projects for inclusion in the annual budget.
Meetings are scheduled for 6:30PM on the 2nd Monday of even months.

Administration and Finance Monday through Thursday from 8:30AM to 4:00PM and Fridays from 8:30AM to 12PM.
Department of Community Development Monday through Thursday from 8:30AM to 4:00PM and Fridays from 8:30AM to 12PM.
Parks and Recreation Monday through Friday 9AM to 4PM.
Public Works and Sanitary District No. 2 General Public Hours: Monday through Thursday from 8:30AM to 4:00PM and Fridays from – 8:30AM to 12PM. Engineering Support & Technical Review of Public Works and Sanitary District No. 2 Permits(sewer, encroachment, floodplain, etc.): Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8:30AM to 3:30PM.
