Neighborhood Response Group Coordinator (Part time, hourly)
The Coordinator’s primary roles is to aid in the development of new Neighborhood Response Groups (NRGs) in all residential areas of Corte Madera, Larkspur, Greenbrae and Kentfield, and to provide support to existing NRGs. The NRG Coordinator reports to the Executive Manager of the Central Marin Fire Authority (CMFA). The NRG Coordinator works in coordination with the CMFA's Executive Manager and the Central Marin NRG Advisory Committee.
This is a non-benefitted contract position. Hourly rate range is $40.00 - $50.00/hour depending upon qualifications and expenses shall be submitted monthly for reimbursement. Hours are anticipated to be approximately 30 hours up to 40 hours per week, with neighborhood meetings, committee meetings and community drills often held during evening hours or on weekends. This position is part-time with the potential to become full-time depending on program needs and funding levels.

Recreation Assistant (Part time)
Department: Parks and Recreation Salary Range: $15 - $17 per hour Final Filing Date: Position open until filled
The Corte Madera Parks and Recreation, a department of the Town of Corte Madera, organizes and executes programs, events and activities for the community. In addition, the department facilitates private events for those utilizing Town facilities such as the Community Center and public parks.
We are seeking dependable and capable individuals as Recreation Assistants who can help with our daily operations in two different areas of focus – general office staff and facility attendant. The general office staff is a point of contact with the public at the Community Center, provides information to the public, performs work as a receptionist, general clerical and administrative work related to Parks and Recreation programming and facilities. The facility attendant is responsible for setting up facilities for classes, facilitating events for the community, troubleshooting, monitoring the parks for proper usage, as well as day-to-day operation of the department. Other related duties may be assigned as needed.
The ideal candidate(s) will be joining an energetic, friendly and experienced staff who have worked together for several years to bring the community what they expect—excellent customer service, high quality programming, and attention to detail.
Both positions require schedule flexibility and may include after hours and weekend shifts. Hours will vary from 15-20 hours per week, averaging 18 hours per week throughout the year. Candidates for facility attendant must be able to lift up to sixty (60) pounds and have a valid California driver’s license. Candidates for general office staff work must be able to lift up to ten (10) pounds on a regular basis and have a valid California driver’s license. Compensation is commensurate with experience, ranging between $17-$25/hour.
