Pat Ravasio was elected to the Town Council in November, 2022. Pat Ravasio is an author, journalist, real estate agent, and parent of three grown daughters. She has served in various capacities as a volunteer and community organizer since moving here from Chicago in 1990, and was named Citizen of the Year in 2004 for her works in parks and beautification. She was co-founder of the Beautification Committee and Oktoberfest, and instigated the creation of Corte Madera’s community cafe and Town Park Plaza. A lifelong student of Buckminster Fuller, about whom she wrote her book, The Girl from Spaceship Earth, she passionately embraces sustainability and community building goals.
Pat Ravasio also serves as a Board Member for the Sanitary District No. 2 Board.
