During the week of July 24, 2017, registered voters of the Town of Corte Madera received a postcard in the mail giving notice of the approved change in election date for municipal elections.
At the June 20, 2017 Town Council meeting, the Corte Madera Town Council voted to adopt Ordinance 966, which moves the Town’s municipal election from November of odd-numbered years to June of even-numbered years, beginning with the election in June 2018. Councilmembers with seats expiring in November 2017 have been extended six months, through June 2018. This change only affects the November 2017 election at this time.
