Candidates for Town Council

Candidate Information:

Nomination Filing Period:   The nomination filing period for Town Council candidates was extended through 5:00pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, for non-incumbent filers only, as at least one current office-holder with an expiring term chose not to file for re-election by the March 9th filing deadline.  Candidates for Town Council must be a resident of Corte Madera, at least 18 years of age and a registered voter in the Town of Corte Madera at the time nomination papers are issued. 

Resolution No. 63/2017 was adopted by the Town Council at its December 19, 2017 Regular Town Council Meeting, and calls for a municipal election to be held in the Town of Corte Madera on June 5, 2018 for the election of three council members, requests that the Board of Supervisors consolidate the election with any other election occurring on said date, and requests election services by the Marin County Department of Elections.
