Corte Madera Dog Park

The Town of Corte Madera has applied for a Design Review and Conditional Use Permit for an off leash dog park at the southeastern corner of the existing Town Park at 498 Tamalpais Drive (APN 024-141-04). The 0.3 acre dog park will be delineated with black powder coated fencing and gates around the perimeter.  A 250 sq. ft. concrete entry pathway will be created to provide access for all users.  The ADA compliant entry area on the north side of the proposed dog park will also include a bench and water dispenser for dogs.  The main play area of the dog park will remain grass and a bench, trash cans and dog waste disposal bags will be added.  Along with the Design Review Application for the physical changes to the site, this application also includes a request for a Conditional Use Permit to add the off leash area as a use to the existing Town Park.  The Planning Commission held a public hearing on October 22, 2019 to consider the application, and adopted Resolution 19-022, approving Design Review PL-2019-0092 and Conditional Use Permit PL-2019-0093 for a 0.37 acre off leash dog park at the southeastern corner of Town Park.
