2020 Sewer Rehabilitation Project

This sanitary sewer project was designed to improve efficiency and operational integrity of the sewer collection system, reduce inflow & infiltration (I&I), reduce Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) risk and reduce the need for staff maintenance. The existing sewer mains consist of vitrified clay pipe (VCP) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes.

The project replaced 2,900 linear feet of sewer main, 3 spot repairs and a rehabilitation of 33 manholes. The total number of laterals triggered by the project was 164. The total number of lower laterals that were replaced with this project was 156 and approximately 4,248 linear feet of pipe.
