[ARCHIVED] 2/2/21 Public Hearing: Townwide LED Retrofits of Streetlight Fixtures

Tuesday, February 2, 2021
6:30 P.M., Video Conference via Zoom (see below for details)

Proposed Authorization of the Public Works Director to Execute a Facility Financing Contract with Tanko Streetlighting, Inc. for the Design and Construction of Townwide Light Emitting Diode (LED) Retrofits of Existing Streetlight Fixtures

In 2019, Town Council authorized staff to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the installation of 245 LED streetlights as part of a Pilot project for approximately 30% of the Town network. Staff  received favorable pricing, as a result of the RFP process, and thus recommends a retrofit of the entire Town infrastructure as one comprehensive project to maximize  the savings on cost per unit.
